Sixtine Crutchfield
Art Director of WISe.ART entrusted NFT Platform

Sixtine studied at the University of Denver, USA for a Bachelor of Mass Communications including History of Art and History of Theatre. After graduating, she landed her first job with the Jan Krugier gallery where she became a proficient art dealer before moving to Australia.
Sixtine worked for the Australia Council, Brown’s Mart Community Arts in Darwin, NT where she was responsible for the arts development among the local and Aboriginal Communities. She returned to Melbourne and among other things, Sixtine taught French at the Alliance Française. It is there that she met Ken Armstrong and together they built a futuristic eco tourism facility on Phillip Island. She then completed a Corporate Law degree from the University of Sydney, NSW.
Upon returning to Geneva with her family, Sixtine opted for a career change and was employed as a client relationship manager at Banque Edouard Constant. This period included the introduction of the Euro currency and concerns relating to the Y2k/Millenium potential IT bug. As part of the Bank’s training programme, Sixtine was given the opportunity to study at the Geneva Business School. This was the start of a long relationship that continues with the Geneva Business School.
In 2003, Jan Krugier invited her to become Managing Director of the gallery. It was during a business trip to Moscow to set up an Art show that Sixtine was asked to manage the event and she decided to leave the gallery once again to take on the new challenge. After that, she was involved in the development of ArtbyGeneve, the Moscow and Salzburg World Fine Art Fairs, Art & Jewels Baku, ArtMallorca, as well as the development of two state-of-the-art Freeport facilities in Singapore and Luxembourg.
In August 2020, the Geneva Business School should have celebrated its 25th anniversary. Instead, to embrace the next quarter of a century, Sixtine designed a new MBA specialising in Fine Art International Management (FAIM) whereby art experts and market specialists will share their professional experience with students who can attend courses online or in person in Geneva. The MBA programme will commence in September 2021.

Mike Nwogugu
Artist and Author

I am a visual artist, Serial Entrepreneur (North America, Europe and Asia), corporate Advisory Board-member and published author (nine academic monographs and 45+ journal-articles in Applied/Pure Math, Complex Systems, Law & Economics, Operations Research and Finance - see https://scholar.google.com/citations?user=K5oY_F4AAAAJ&hl=en). My artwork reflects my experiences as an architecture student, and as someone who has been exposed to many industries. Other influences include my African heritage (I lived in Africa for more than nineteen years), and time spent in relatively large/complex cities (such as Boston, New York, Washington D.C. metro area; Newark; Los Angeles; Houston; London; Chicago; Vienna; Paris; Lagos; Chicago; Philadelphia; Abuja; etc.); and time spent as an entrepreneur and author of research/academic books. I hold an MBA degree from Columbia University (New York City); and a B.Arch. degree from City University of New York; and a B.Sc.(Architecture) degree from University of Nigeria, Nigeria.
My art-on-paper can be described as abstract expressionism, minimalist abstract realism and portraitures. Most of my physical artworks are made with pens and opaque markers on art-paper. My artworks and approach to art have evolved over time, to the more informal, with limited range of colors. I also try to incorporate the elements of “limitations of humans” which is often the main cause of conflicts and crime in modern society. Unlike many artists, I didn’t visit a lot of museums and art galleries, and was not substantially influenced by existing art. I try to create art that is memorable, not contrived, venue- neutral, arouses human curiosity and can improve moods.
My NFTs are of two types:
- i) Limited edition art NFTs which are created from images of my physical artworks. ii) Limited edition photography NFTs that were created from close-up photographs of small sections of my hand-drawn abstract Art-On-Paper. This method/technique effectively treats my underlying physical artworks as Collages and is a “Derivative Art-from-Art” series. My Art- From-Art photographs are substantially different from the underlying physical artwork because of the following reasons: 1) the images are photos of sections of my physical artwork; 2) changes in lighting and shades add different effects, 3) the creation of the image using a digital camera sometimes produces differentiating effects (color tones, glares, light-reflections, etc.); 4) the angle from which the photo is taken can also add additional effects (eg. depth; perspectives; intentional blurring effects; contrasts; etc.). The net result is a hybrid art form.
My NFTs can be viewed in the following webpages:
- i) Wise.art (www.wise.art).
- ii) Crypto.com – under the collections titled as follows (with QR Codes):
- 1) “michaelN6” (https://crypto.com/nft/collection/19e3b6ecfecd7abf6d5e14bbad3fd028)
