Technology Must Serve Humanity, Not Replace It
At Davos 2026, WISeKey SA presented the Human-AI-T Manifesto — a framework advocating for a future where Artificial Intelligence remains firmly aligned with humanity, ethics, and human dignity.
As AI and Quantum Technologies rapidly reshape our world, one principle must remain non-negotiable: technology must serve humanity, not replace it.
The Human-AI-T Manifesto promotes AI that remains under meaningful human control, aligned with human values — fairness, empathy, accountability, transparency, and privacy. It calls for AI systems that are explainable, auditable, and designed to prevent harm while protecting civil rights and democratic principles.
This vision reflects a growing global movement toward Human-Centered AI, where technology enhances human capabilities instead of replacing human expertise. AI should function as a trusted co-pilot — reducing complexity, accelerating innovation, supporting creativity, and amplifying human potential.
From healthcare and education to cybersecurity and quantum technologies, the future of intelligence must remain human-centric, trustworthy, and ethically governed.
A Digital Seed Vault for Human Knowledge
Building on the principles of the Svalbard Global Seed Vault — which secures the world's agricultural biodiversity — the HUMAN-AI-T project aims to serve as the digital equivalent for human knowledge.
It will consolidate a vast range of sources, including religious texts, legal frameworks, international treaties, philosophical ideas, and spiritual teachings from civilizations across the globe, integrating these with wisdom and local traditions. By doing so, it will holistically define humanity and teach the AI unique intricacies, ensuring that its development remains centered on universal human values.
