Introducing QuantumDavos.com — Celebrating 2026, the Year of Quantum Security

QuantumDavos.com is an initiative of SEALSQ and WISeKey, designed as a dynamic digital hub for the global quantum community during Davos. The platform serves as the central reference point for all quantum-related activity taking place throughout the Davos period, providing a unified calendar of meetings, roundtables, interviews, press conferences, and both official and informal gatherings.

Whereas 2025 marked the global recognition of quantum computing and its transformative potential, 2026 becomes the year-long international effort to secure it. Its core focus is the deployment of post-quantum cryptography (PQC), quantum resilience, and the protection of intellectual property and digital sovereignty in a world approaching quantum advantage.

This global mobilization comes as the White House is expected to issue critical executive actions on quantum cybersecurity and PQC, setting binding standards for government agencies, infrastructure operators, and technology providers worldwide.

QuantumDavos.com enables real-time coverage and post-event continuity through articles, short videos, and executive summaries, ensuring sustained engagement before, during, and after Davos. Integrated social amplification allows content to be instantly shared via #QuantumDavos across LinkedIn, X (Twitter), YouTube, and major platforms, extending global reach.

Live social feeds, hashtags, and embedded media empower participants, partners, and the wider community to engage with key moments, exchange insights, and contribute content—making QuantumDavos.com both a trusted reference and an interactive ecosystem for the world’s quantum dialogue at Davos.

We are pleased to announce that the book Age of Convergence will be distributed in its pre-edition in Davos, in the presence of the authors. This pre-edition will serve as the core reference for the debates taking place during the roundtable sessions. All registered participants will receive a complimentary copy.

Age of Convergence examines a pivotal moment in human history: the accelerating convergence of exponential technologies and its transformative impact on civilization. Artificial intelligence, quantum computing, biotechnology, space systems, blockchain, and cybersecurity are no longer evolving independently; they are increasingly interconnected, reinforcing one another and reshaping society at unprecedented speed.

The book emphasizes a critical necessity: humanity must actively monitor, guide, and govern this convergence to avoid losing control over the systems it creates. It argues that technological evolution cannot be left solely to autonomous processes, algorithms, or market dynamics without risking the erosion of human values, ethics, and accountability.

Rather than portraying humans as passive observers, Age of Convergence asserts that human beings must remain the essential protagonists of the future of civilization. It calls for human-centered governance, ethical frameworks embedded by design, transparency, and long-term responsibility—ensuring that technology continues to serve humanity and not the other way around.

This shared reference will provide a common intellectual foundation for informed, meaningful, and forward-looking discussions throughout the roundtables.

India’s space sector is moving into a powerful acceleration phase. Space-tech startups across the country are rapidly increasing hiring in engineering, R&D, manufacturing and operations, driven by growing government demand, rising private investment and the rollout of real commercial deployments. This is exactly what happens when a nation commits to becoming a major space power.

Yesterday, during a Swissmem event in Geneva, I had the opportunity to present SEALSQ’s Post-Quantum semiconductor technology and our quantum roadmap. Swissmem, as Switzerland’s leading association for the mechanical, electrical, and metal industries, plays a pivotal role in strengthening the country’s industrial competitiveness. Representing more than 1,200 companies, it fosters innovation, supports technology transfer, and defends the strategic interests of Swiss industry at both national and international levels. Their leadership is essential as Switzerland works to secure its position in global high-tech value chains.
