WISeKey and Brazilian Football Club CR Flamengo launch the official CR Flamengo WISfans Mobile App

GENEVA and RIO DE JANEIRO, Brazil, Oct. 18, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — WISeKey SA and CR Flamengo released today the new version of the CR Flamengo WISfans app allowing the club to be at the forefront of fans social media initiatives by forming a partnership with the Swiss technology company WISeKey. CR Flamengo is the most popular team in Brazil, with over 40 million supporters as of 2012 and was voted by FIFA as one of the most successful football clubs of the 20th century.
The CR Flamengo WISfans app generates digital identities for fans and harnesses original content created by the players and their club via social media platforms, and further enriches this with exclusive content from current players and club legends, thus empowering their fans’ mobile experience, and creating a rich Social CRM platform. WISeKey has concluded similar projects with Real Madrid for their fans in China, FC Barcelona fans all over the world and lately with ORACLE TEAM USA, winners of the 2013 Americas Cup. The company has currently 12 more clubs joining WISfans, to be announced shortly, creating a global identity ecosystem for digital certified fans.
