Building on 27 Years of Digital Trust and Entering the Quantum Age
As we complete our redomiciliation and begin the transition from WISeKey to WISeQey, we want to emphasize that this evolution will be gradual and will build on, rather than replace, the strong heritage of the WISeKey name.
For the foreseeable future, the Group will continue to use both WISeKey and WISeQey across its communications, businesses and digital presence as we progressively bring the Group into the quantum age.

Two names, one group
WISeKey represents our 27-year heritage. WISeQey represents where we are going next.
Heritage
Trust models, cybersecurity, digital identity, trusted semiconductors and secure communications. Twenty-seven years of it, and it stays.
Evolution

For 27 years, WISeKey has built its expertise around Trust models, cybersecurity, digital identity, trusted semiconductors and secure communications. That heritage remains fundamental to who we are and will continue to be reflected through the WISeKey name.
WISeQey represents the extension of this experience into the quantum world. The “Q” symbolizes our growing focus on quantum security and our ambition to combine nearly three decades of cybersecurity expertise with post-quantum cryptography, quantum technologies, secure semiconductors, trusted AI and satellite-based secure communications.
This will not be an overnight change. We will continue using both WISeKey and WISeQey as we gradually transition the Group, our technologies and our global ecosystem toward the quantum age.
The completion of our redomiciliation therefore represents more than a change of domicile or corporate name. It marks the beginning of the next chapter of our Group: preserving the trust, recognition and expertise built under WISeKey while progressively developing WISeQey as the identity for our quantum future.
