Advisory Committee 

The Advisory Committee is composed of influential individuals in different industries and sectors that can advise and support WISeKey in the development of its strategy and business. The Advisory Committee is mandated by it charter to advise and support the company in:

The current members of the Advisory Committee are:

Philippe Pascal headed LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton watches and jewelry activities since 2001 and lately served as Advisor to the Chairman Bernard Arnault. Prior to this, Mr. Pascal was president of Moët Hennessy, the wines and spirits division of LVMH. Thanks to his knowledge of the luxury sector, his discipline and creativity, Mr. Pascal contributed to the growth and enhanced identity and prestige of each brand in the division.

Abel Linares was CEO  of  Oesia, Terra , TPI Yellow Pages and Telefónica InternationaI  (Central America, Colombia, Mexico and Puerto Rico), was a member of the Telefonica Group Executive Committe. Terra and TPI were  public companies, quoted on the Ibex 35 ( Spanish Market) and Terra in the top 100 on NASDAQ. Strong execution abilities and a sound business mind with the  ability to drive forward a diverse and very creative teams, in different industries: Telecom, Internet, Consultan and IT Services, Defence, Publicity.

Dr. Adrienne Corboud Fumagalli holds the position of EPFL (Swisstech, Lausanne) Vice President for Innovation and Technology Transfer. An experienced industry executive in telecom and media technologies, she has been reinforcing the bridges between EPFL and the marketplace since September 2008.  She has focused in particular on developing EPFL’s Innovation Square, a place to host and expose start ups and to enhance strategic partnerships with industry leaders.  In 2010, she launched Metamedia@EPFL, a new centre to promote and develop research in the field of media. She also chairs 2 foundations to promote innovation (PSE, FIT).

Carlos C. Esteve, CEO Heritage Bank
Carlos C. Esteve serves as the Chief Executive Officer, General Manager, and Member of Executive Board at Banque Heritage SA and he is Chief Executive Officer of Heritage Bank and Heritage Trust. He received his degree in Hautes Etudes Commerciales from the University of Lausanne.

Claude Béglé, Director General of SymbioSwiss and former Chairman of Swiss Post, Mr. Béglé is one of the most prestigious executives in Switzerland and will cooperate with WISeKey to implement its international expansion strategy, strengthen its links with the postal world and deal with micro remittances activities. 

Cristina Valls-Taberner Muls is an entrepreneur with more than 10 years of senior operations and chief executive experience working with financial and technology companies and has one of the best networks in the world. She has worked with brands such as Mercedez-Benz, Jaguar and Banco Santander and created her own luxury brand, Chris&Cris, which has 30 corners already at department stores such as EL Corte Ingles in Spain. As CEO and president of Chris&cris, her leadership capabilities have guided the company through several phases of growth.

Mr. Fernando Chico Pardo, founder and President of PROMECAP, S.C. and CEO of
ASUR, is a Mexican investor who serves as a board member of the United
Nations Pension Fund, The Quantum Group of Funds, Grupo Posadas de Mexico,
Grupo Financiero Inbursa and Grupo Carso, among others.

François Barrault was CEO of BT Global Services and president of BT International from 2004 to 2008. François was a member of the BT Group Board and Operating Committee. Previously, he was President and CEO of Lucent Technologies EMEA and held senior positions in Ascend Communications, Stratus Computer, Computervision and IBM. Currently he is Chairman and Founder of FDB Partners, an investment and consulting firm in Telecommunications, IT, renewable energy and publishing. He is Non-Executive Director of eServGlobal, Windeo SA, Alpha Networks, les Edition du Privileges, the New York Forum Institute and NovaSparks. He is also special Advisor to IJ Partners, Tactem, Mastek, ACE Fund, Ariadne Capital, HIG Capital, Studio Moderna and Recipco.

Gary Shainberg, Vice-President, Global Technology & Innovation Support BT Plc., Office of the Chief Scientist, BT Gary Shainberg is responsible for ensuring BT’s Innovation and Technology programs deliver (radical) solutions to business problems – which in turn drives improved business performance. 

 

 Leonard H. Schrank, Chaiman and CEO of ACT3 Technologies, President of AmCham Belgium and former CEO of SWIFT
Has served as CEO from 1992 until April 2007. Career has consisted of managing European and US organisations that provide information services and software solutions to the financial services industry. Upon graduating from MIT, co-founded a software company in Cambridge, Massachusetts that was acquired by Chase/Interactive Data Corporation in 1977. Based in London, headed Chase/IDC’s international activities for nearly 10 years before joining SWIFT. President, American Chamber of Commerce in Belgium; Director, United Fund for Belgium; Vice President, MIT Club, Belgium; Member of the ICT Advisory Board of GIMV, a Belgian venture capital fund. American.
Mario Garnero, Chairman Brasilinvest Group (Brazil), Entrepreneur Mario Garnero, 69, has a Law Degree from the Catholic University of São Paulo where, as a student, he presided over the “Centro Acadêmico 22 de Agosto” (the University’s Law Students’ Association). Mario Garnero is Chairman of the Board of the Brasilinvest Group, a business organization established in 1975 as a private business agency operating along the lines of a classic “banque d’affaires” or merchant bank. The establishment of the Brasilinvest Group, which has already attracted investments in the range of US$ 2 billion to Brazil, gathered partners from 16 different countries who are still minority shareholders. In addition, Mario Garnero is President of Jurisul – the Interamerican Institute for Juridical Studies on Mercosur and President of the United Nations Association-Brazil.
Martial Chaillet, CEO, MediaWin, a Geneva, Switzerland-based private investment firm, primarily focuses on investments in media and media-related companies around the world. Prior to founding MediaWin, Mr. Chaillet was Senior Vice President and Global Portfolio Manager of Capital Research and Management, the mutual fund arm of The Capital Group, one of the world's largest financial institutions. At The Capital Group, where he spent thirty years, Mr. Chaillet was also responsible for global research for media and entertainment companies, as well as telecom services and equipment companies. In addition to serving on the Board of Directors of Spark Networks, Mr. Chaillet also currently serves as a director of Infosearch (a US-based search engine company), Snap TV (a US-based provider of games over television) and Media Partners
Richard Attias, Founder and CEO TheExperience.com and new York Forum. Previous CEO  Dubai Event Management Corporation / Former Chairman Publicis Live.
(born 1959) is a Moroccan global events producer, former chairman of PublicisLive and presently Executive Chairman of the Experience Corporation and Founder of The New York Forum. Attias was the producer of the World Economic Forum in Davos for over fifteen years.
Serge Ferre, Vice-President Strategy at Nokia between 2003 and 2007 and since mid 2010. Between 2007 and mid 2010, Mr. Ferre served as Corporate Vice-President Nokia, EU Representation and Member of the Board of Nokia International Finance. Between 1991 and 2003, he worked first as Managing Director of Nokia Mobile Phones France, then as President of Nokia, France. Prior to that, he worked for Bang and Olufsen as Managing Director and Member of the Group Strategic Committees.
