WISekey establishes strategic alliance with Promecap to expand its Global Reach to Mexico 

 

Geneva, Switzerland, Mexico DF, April 15th ---WISeKey SA a leading Swiss e-security and Digital Identification company and Promecap S.C., a Mexican financial advisory services firm (two Global Compact members http://www.csr-news.net/directory/promecap-sc/ ) have reached an agreement in order for Promecap to assist WISeKey on its deployment to the Mexican market. This cooperation allows the establishment of WISeKey Mexico subsidiary to expand the deployment of WISeKey technology in the Mexican market which is one of the most mature Latin American markets in the area of mobile communications and digital identification.

The agreement acceleratesthe setting up of a distribution network in Mexico to distribute WISeKey technology in a market which is presently in the process to deploy a National Identification project with the Federal Government and includes several of the leading Telecommunications and Financial groups in Latin America.

The agreement was signed in Cancun, Mexico during the World Economic Forum Latin American 2008 event using the opportunity that WISeKey was selected by the World Economic Forum as one of the 100 High Growth Companies / New Champions http://www1.wisekey.com/news/070911WISeKeySelectedByWEF.aspx. A new strategic initiative of the World Economic Forum to identify and engage the future champions of global industry.
